NYPD Search For Carroll Gardens Crook

The man is wanted for stealing a woman's purse last month.

The NYPD has released a photo of a man wanted in connection with a grand larceny last month in Carroll Gardens.

On Wednesday, April 17, at approximately 12 p.m., outside of 10 2nd Place, located between Clinton and Henry Streets, an unknown man approached a 51-year-old woman and grabbed her purse, cops said. He then fled the location and dropped the bag nearby.

No injuries were reported by the victim, cops said.

The individual wanted by police is described as a black male who was last seen wearing a dark blue hooded Adidas jacket with a dark colored baseball cap, dark blue jeans and while carrying a dark blue backpack.
