Roulette Hosting Brooklyn Symphony in Memory of Hope Reichbach

Concert raises funds in honor of late Boerum Hill native.

The Brooklyn Symphony will perform this month in remembrance of Hope Reichbach, the young Boerum Hill native who was a rising star in local politics but tragically passed away at the age of 22 in 2011.

On Nov. 24 at 4 p.m., Brooklyn Friends of Chamber Music (BFCM) presents members of The Brooklyn Symphony Orchestra in the second concert to honor the memory of Reichbach. The concert will take place at Roulette on Atlantic Avenue and Third Avenue in Boerum Hill.

Reichbach was City Councilman Steve Levin's Communications Director, and, at age 22, she ran for Female District Leader. She was recognized as a rising star in Brooklyn politics before she was found dead in her apartment in April 2011.

All proceeds from this concert will be donated to the Hope Reichbach Fund, (www.hopeforbrooklyn.com) which provides scholarships for students in civic leadership and grassroots community organizing.
