Benefit Concert at St. Paul's

On Saturday May 11, 2013 at 8 pm. St. Paul’s Choir, under the direction of Vince Peterson with Nathan Taylor on organ will be performing in concert for the benefit of St. Paul’s Church. They will be exploring the enigmatic texts of 18th Century poet Christopher Smart in Benjamin Britten's cantata-like creation, "Rejoice in the Lamb," for choir and organ. Also on the program is Handel's lesser-known anthem for the Duke of Chandos (ca.1716-1718), "Let God Arise," with chamber consort.  Come out and show St. Paul’s and St. Paul’s choir some love by attending this benefit concert.  St. Paul’s summer schedule is fast approaching and this will be one of the few chances left to hear their marvelous voices until they return from hiatus in the fall The suggested donation is $10
Join us for a night of exquisite music, help us make this benefit a resounding success.
