I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and moved out to Maplewood, New Jersey with my family in my teens.

I graduated from Seton Hall University in South Orange in 2003 with a B.A. in Communications.

After spending a few years on the West Coast, I finally made it back to my hometown  and I'm now living in – and loving – Greenpoint.

In addition to writing and photography, my interests include music, movies, food, riding my bike, and being an all-around film and toy camera nerd.
