David Naczycz, Neighbor

I am co-founder of Urban Oyster, a Brooklyn based tour company that currently offers walking tours in both Brooklyn and Manhattan.  Our tours and our company embody my own values as a dedicated urbanist and amateur historian who loves cities, neighborhoods, and their histories. I've traveled to and lived in a number of cities all over the world and, everywhere I go, I try to immerse myself in the history of that place. I've lived in New York City for over nine years and 4 of those here in Carroll Gardens and this is by far the best place I've ever lived. The people, the food, the beautiful streets make this the best neighborhood in NYC.  I hope through our tours and events I can be a part of making our community better and stronger so that it can be just as wonderful for future generations.
