The congregation at the Kane Street Synagogue is the oldest in Brooklyn with the sanctuary dating back to 1865. This conservative Jewish community features many services for members, from pre-school classes to community events, volunteer opportunities and music programs. Like many houses of worship in Cobble Hill, the synagogue is situated on a residential block surrounded by brownstone homes.
