Ribbon Cut at New Eileen C Dugan Senior Center

Ribbon-cutting celebrates newly renovated Carroll Gardens senior center.

Earlier this summer, the Eileen C Dugan Senior Center at 380 Court Street in Carroll Gardens reopened. On Thursday, the ribbon was cut to celebrate the reopening.

The American Italian Coalition of Organizations (AMICO) now operates the center. City Councilman Brad Lander was at the ribbon cutting and tweeted from the event.

"Delighted to celebrate the ribbon-cutting of the new Eileen Duggan Senior Ctr at AMICO in Carroll Gardens," he tweeted.

He also thanked NYC Department for the Aging Commissioner Lilliam Barrios-Paoli and assemblywoman Joan Millman for their help with the newly renovated center.
