SHONTELLE PERFORMS AT GCARIBBEAN’S 2ND ISSUE LAUNCH PARTY IN NEW YORK CITY

New York, September 16 – On Friday night, Shontelle Layne performed her new single “I’m In Love” (featuring Kato) at the GCARIBBEAN Magazine’s 2nd issue launch party, "Caribbean-esque". This was Shontelle’s first performance of the single in the United States.

“It’s our goal to present the best of the Caribbean, in the most sophisticated manner,” said GCARIBBEAN’s Editor-in-Chief Geoff Cooper. “I think we are achieving that with Shontelle on the cover of our second issue and the turnout at Caribbean-esque. This issue puts the spotlight on Caribbean-connected creatives doing amazing work globally. We’re new and we are committed to bringing new content to the fore that is definitively Caribbean, fresh and informative.”

Caribbean-esque brought together an eclectic group of tastemakers of and connected to the Caribbean. Guests included, supermodel Corey Baptiste, reality star Camille McDonald, ABC’s Duet’s winner J Rome Wayne, Vanity Fair’s George Wayne, Billionaire Kevin McGovern, reputation doctor Michael Paul, Calvin Klein’s Nick Gruber, celebrity fashion designer Randi Rahm, Spiegal’s Richard Lowe and Prince’s keyboardist Cassandra O'Neal.

The Quintessentially Groups’ ELEQT, Golden Krust Bakery, Hennessy, Lexxstar Chauffeured Services, L’ Occitane en Provence, Marley Mellow Mood, Milano Green Vodka and Vita Coco were sponsors.
