2. The Best Grilled Sandwich in Brooklyn Contest!

The second annual Best Grilled Sandwich in Brooklyn Benefit, a fundraiser for  located at Carroll and Columbia Streets, will take place this Saturday, September 15 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. !

3. The French Bulldog Benefit Party

C'est what? You read that correctly.  will take place on Saturday, September 15 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $10 at the door, or $5 if you bring a French bulldog (or any bulldog). French cocktails—no doubt made with Bulldog English Dry Gin, a sponsor—and snacks will be served. All proceeds will be donated to B.A.R.C.

4. Free Ice Cream. Free Ice Cream. And, more Free Ice Cream.

Jeni’s NYC Street Treats Truck Tour will be stopping outside of three nearby establishments over the next two days.

5. Tuck in To Some Très Brooklyn Fare Under the Tents

The tents at Smorgasburg's new DUMBO location at the Tobacco Warehouse, a roofless 25,000-square-foot space in Brooklyn Bridge Park, that is. It's way closer than Williamsburg and just as cool. Smorgasburg Dumbo is scheduled to run every Sunday through Nov. 18, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., except during Dumbo Arts Festival on Sept. 30.
