Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a Japanese word that means universal life force. This ancient healing technique teaches that we become ill or stuck in our lives when our life force is low or out of balance. Reiki is a gentle and non-invasive therapy that promotes stress reduction and relaxation for both the facilitator and receiver. Among its benefits are increased energy, strengthening of the immune system and promotion of balance. In the Reiki Level 1 Class, each student will receive an attunement and learn how to practice Reiki both alone and with another.
