Post-Partum Yoga
This is a semi-private class with limited capacity to enhance individualized attention; space is limited to four students. Post-Partum Yoga with Rachael Stark is a four-week course for women who have just given birth or are getting back into shape after having children. We will focus specifically on abdominal strengthening, developing and defining muscle tone throughout the body, holding yoga poses (asanas) for sustained breath to build endurance, and learn basic techniques of meditation and mantra to quiet and still the mind. Each week we will build upon a series of postures gradually enhancing strength and flexibility.
