Brooklyn Nets Return To Barclays For Game 7 on Saturday

The final score on Thursday night was Nets 95, ‪Chicago Bulls 92.

The Brooklyn Nets beat the Chicago Bulls 95-92 in the Windy City late Thursday night. So, it's back to Kings County this weekend for one more round.

"BACK TO BROOKLYN! Final Score: ‪#Nets 95, ‪@chicagobulls 92. The ‪#Nets force Game 7 ‪@BarclaysCenter behind 17 and 11 from D-Will! ‪#NETSvBULLS," tweeted the team's handle to an eruption of online cheers on the East Coast.

From fans to local electeds, such as Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz, the haunting "Broooooklyn!" mantra was repeated like the chorus of a pop song.

One voice silenced by the win, however, was recording artist Rihanna, whose previously scheduled concert at Barclays Center has been bumped to Tuesday, May 7, due to the advancement of the playoffs.

“I want to apologize to Rihanna’s fans for the inconvenience of having to reschedule her show," said Brett Yormark, CEO of Barclays Center and the Brooklyn Nets in a public statement. "I want to thank Rihanna for working with us on this new date and for understanding what a Game 7 in Brooklyn means to the borough. We are looking forward to a special concert and I hope Rihanna will be our guest at Game 7.”

Tickets for the original concert date will be honored on the new night. Refunds will be available at the original point of purchase.

In the meantime, basketball fans can try their luck at nabbing remaining seats at Saturday night's game here.
