, bringing Southern cuisine to Smith Street, will be hosting a Fried Chicken Fundraiser tonight, and proceeds will be going towards the student vegetable garden program at P.S. 58, according to Brooklyn Based.
For $50 each, diners can enjoy a three-course menu centered around – what else? – fried chicken.

Back in December 2010, Patch reported on P.S. 58’s “green” efforts, like , where students would learn to grow and harvest their own food. This past October, , a musician whose songs are all about eating healthy and being environmentally conscious.
