From Crime to Redemption
Each year, thousands of prisoners are released back into society, yet there is limited support and funding for crucial social programs that help them lead an honest life. Without these programs, many ex-prisoners are doomed, with few alternatives except to return to a life of crime. Kellie Phelan is one of these ex-prisoners. Kellie will tell her story of moving from crime to redemption, and will discuss how programs such as those at Hour Children are critical for those making the transition from prison to the real world.
