The times they are a-changin’ – at least for the holiday weekend.
Here's the rundown of changes to city services.
1. Trains and buses will run on a Saturday schedule on Christmas Eve and will have reduced hours on Dec. 25. On Monday Dec. 26th, they will run on a Sunday schedule. Visit the MTA’s website for more information.

2. On Dec. 24, post offices and mail delivery will operate on a regular Saturday schedule.
3. Alternate side parking is suspended on both Christmas Day and Dec. 26.

4. The Long Island Railroad will provide fourteen extra trains in this afternoon for travellers looking to get a head start. The LIRR will operate trains on a regular weekend schedule for Christmas Day.
5. Metro-North will add twenty trains for this afternoon. On Monday, Dec. 26, Metro North will be operating on a Saturday schedule.
6. To ease travel, routine maintenance will be suspended on all bridges and tunnels starting at noon today.
