The Power of the Audit

The Office of the New York City Comptroller will hold five Audit Town Hall Meetings, one in each borough, over the next month.  These meetings aim to provide citizens an opportunity to learn more about the audit process and to make suggestions regarding future audits.

Tina Kim, Deputy Comptroller of the Audit Bureau, and her team will discuss what makes for a good audit, the process for deciding when to do an audit, and give several examples of recent audits that have been completed along with their findings.
