Borough Hall Christmas Tree Lighting

Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz will illuminate the 40-foot-tall Christmas tree in Brooklyn Borough Hall Plaza. The tree from Canaan, Vermont, will sparkle with holiday colors each night through the holiday season.

Performing scenes from "The Nutcracker" will be dancers from the American Ballet Theater, Brooklyn Ballet and Mark Morris Dance Group. And, of course, it wouldn't be Christmas without a special guest appearance from Santa himself.
