Barclays Center Liquor Hearing Scheduled For June 12

The hearing will be open to the public.

A public hearing before the New York State Liquor Authority regarding Barclays Center vendor Levy Restaurants' liquor license application at the arena is scheduled for June 12 at 11 a.m.

Community Board 6 recently (with the stipulation of a 2 a.m. cutoff for alcohol sales).

Brooklyn Speaks is calling for a 10 p.m. cutoff time.

"Sure, the NBA has a policy that requires liquor sales to end after the third quarter,” says the petition. “But basketball only accounts for 40 of the expected 220 events to be held at the arena each year.”

The hearing will take place at the SLA's office at 317 Lenox Avenue, 4th floor, in Manhattan.
