Hungry thieves strike in Carroll Gardens

Thieves get away with pizza, cash:

A 28-year-old male was pushed off his bike and robbed by two thugs while trying to deliver a pizza in Carroll Gardens, cops said. One thief pulled out a knife while the other grabbed the pizza and $25 from the pockets of the victim. The incident occurred on Wednesday, March 23 at 2:25 p.m. outside 189 Huntington St.

A 35-year-old female returned home to find her air conditioner removed from her window, and her laptop and jewelry missing, cops said. The thief broke in to 663 Henry Street on Thursday, March 24 between 9 a.m. and 7:45 p.m. and made off with an Apple laptop worth $4,000, 3 gold necklaces worth $500 and five gold rings worth $500.

A 23-year-old male was taken for a fool on the basketball court at Carroll Park on Friday, March 25 at 12:40 in the afternoon. Five teenagers approached him wanting to play a pick-up game, and while the victim was playing, his wallet and cell phone, which he'd placed on the ground, were taken. The thief (or thieves) made off with a Verizon phone and a Fossil wallet with a driver's license, Social Security card, $25 in cash and a Chase bank card.
