Three Arrested in Morning Drug Bust on Bergen St.

Sixty five bags of heroin were recovered.

Three invidividuals were arrested and 65 bags of heroin were seized in a 6:00 a.m. drug bust that occurred on Bergen Street at the corner of Nevins Street in Boerum Hill, Friday morning.

After a three-week investigation, officers from the 76 Precinct teamed up with the Brooklyn South Narcotics Unit to enter the second-floor apartment of a four-story private building on the residential street, which sits in the confines of the 84 Precinct. The target was a 58-year-old man suspected of drug dealing, cops said.

Upon entering the home, officers found 65 bags of heroin with an approximate street value of $650.

In addition to the man, cops said, two women, ages 55 and 18 respectively, were arrested. The male has been charged with criminal posession of a controlled substance with intent to sell.
