Shots Fired Outside NY Perks Wednesday Night

More gunshots echoed across the neighborhood on Wednesday night, but this time they were discharged right on Smith Street, outside the bar NY Perks.

Multiple shots were fired outside the popular bar just after 11 p.m., according to a police source. The suspects fled in a car. No injuries were reported.

Detectives from the 76 Precinct are investigating. There have been no arrests.

This is not the first time violence was reported outside NY Perks. Last winter, a after leaving the bar.

"We're all really nervous about it," said one Baltic Street resident, who did not want to give her name for an article. "We just want to make sure the shootings aren't going to keep happening."
