Sibling Fight Becomes Violent

A 22-year-old woman got involved in a verbal fight with her 14-year-old brother on Tuesday night, December 27, at her home on Hoyt Street. The brother started acting violently, and threatened his sister with a kitchen knife, holding it to her stomach. The woman feared her safety and called the police, who arrested the 14-year-old for posession of a weapon and menacing.

Six Boxes of Theraflu Stolen From CVS

On Wednesday afternoon, December 28, a black male was arrested for stealing six boxes of Theraflu from CVS at 398 Court Street, totalling a value of $45. When the man was arrested, police found a small bag of marijuana in his pocket.

Henry Street Apartment Break-In

An apartment on Henry Street between Kane and Degraw Streets was burglarized on Thursday night, December 29. When the resident, a 38-year-old man returned to his home, he found that the basement door lock had been pried open and the door was left ajar. The perp had taken an Apple MacBook Pro and fled through the side door of the apartment.

Three Man Robbery on Court

On Friday, December 30, three men approached a 29-year-old man on Court Street between Nelson and Luquer Streets. One man placed an unknown object to the victim's back, saying, "Don't move." The men then took the victim's wallet, with $500, four credit cards, and the victim's drivers license, as well as his car and house keys from his back pocket. The three men fled to a four-door, red Sedan, and drove west on Nelson Street.
