Police Search for Armed Robbers

Three suspects are wanted in connection with an Oct. 4 armed robbery.

 

Cops are asking for the public's assistance in finding a man wanted in connection with an armed robbery that occurred on Thursday, Oct. 4 at 4:48 p.m. at the corner of Butler and Hoyt Streets.

Three suspects approached a 39-year-old man and while one suspect displayed a firearm, the others took the man's cellphone. They all then fled on foot.

The first suspect is described as a black male around 20 years old and wearing a red sweatshirt. The third suspect is described as a black male around 18 years old and wearing a dark shirt and blue pants.



Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto Crime Stoppers' website at www.nypdcrimestoppers.com or by texting their tips to CRIMES (274637), then enter TIP577.
