Police Search for Armed Robber

Cops are looking for a man wanted for two armed robberies that occurred in the 76th and 78th Precincts.


Police are asking for the public's assistance in locating a man wanted in connection with two armed robberies of businesses in Park Slope and Cobble Hill. 

On Wednesday, Oct. 17 at approximately 9:50 p.m., the suspect entered the Tasti D-Lite at 339 7th Ave. He showed a black firearm, demanded money and then fled on foot with an unknown amount of cash. 

Then, on Monday, Oct. 22 at approximately 8:15 p.m., the suspect robbed a 19-year-old employee at Blue Marble Ice Cream at 196 Court St at gunpoint. The employee gave the suspect money he demanded, and then the suspect fled down Court Street in an unknown direction. In total, $337 was stolen from the store. 

The suspect is described as black male in his 40's, weighing 180 pounds and standing 6-feet.
