Two Men Arrested for Attempted Burglary at Cobble Hill Cinemas

Two men were arrested for attempting to steal from Cobble Hill Cinemas earlier this week, according to police. On Monday, October 1 between 9:20 p.m. and 9:35 p.m. two indivduals unlawfully entered the box office and attempted to remove money.

Police officers conducted an immediate canvass. Keyon Keller, 21, and Maurice Mills, 20, were arrested at 11:00 p.m. for attempted burglary.

Homeowner Spots Burglar Entering Through His Window

A resident on Congress Street between Clinton and Henry reported an attempted burglary at his home on Friday, September 26, police said. The 38-year-old victim told officers that at 2:50 p.m. that day he witnessed a man peeling back the window screen in the front of his apartment. Upon being discovered, the thief fled the scene to parts unknown. The suspect is described as being 5 foot 9 with clear, medium skin and wavy hair. The investigation is ongoing.

Update: Uncle Louie G's Tip Thief Reported To Police

A representative of Uncle Louie G's has shared with Carroll Gardens Patch that they officially reported a recent tip thief to the 76th Precinct. The incident is still under investigation.
