Police Blotter: Three Expensive Bikes Stolen From President St.

Three Expensive Bikes Stolen From President Street

Three racing bikes were stolen when a garage was broken into on the 300 block of President Street, cops said. At some point between Friday, March 22 at 3 p.m. through April 16, at 11 p.m., an unknown person cut a lock on the garage and entered through its door without permission from the owner. The intruders took off with a Gitane Kilo track bike ($1400), Gitane Tour de France bike ($1000) and a green Surly Steamroller bike ($600), cops said. The victim is a male, 46.  

Two Men Rob Evangelist at Work

A robbery took place on the 400 block of Baltic Street on Tuesday, April 16 at 6 p.m., cops said. The victim told police that while conducting voluntary ministry work, he was approached by two unknown males. One pulled out a knife, threateningly, saying, “Go ahead and try to scream.” The pair then removed an iPhone 5 ($600) and a memory scan stick ($30) before fleeing to parts unknown. The victim is male, 17. Wanted is a male, black, 18, weighing 150 pounds, standing 5 foot 8, with dark skin and wearing a blue jacket and jeans. A second wanted male is described as also 18, 6 foot, weighing 170 pounds, with dark skin, and wearing blue jeans. 

Cat Burglar Takes Tablets, Laptops and Trainers

On Saturday, April 20 between 1:30 a.m. and 1:40 a.m. an unknown individual entered an apartment on the 100 bock of Baltic Street through the window and removed property without permission, cops said. Items taken include an Android tablet, a MacBook ($300), HP laptop ($275) and a pair of sneakers ($250). The victim is male, 57, cops said. No witnesses have come forward at this time.
 
Woman's Phone Stolen At IKEA

A grand larceny took place at IKEA on Saturday, April 20 between 4 p.m. and 8:42 p.m., cops said. The victim told police that she lost her phone while shopping at the store and later discovered that someone found it and used it. The thief was able to change the SIM card and use the phone, cops said. The victim is female, 19. Missing is a black iPhone 5 ($827).  

Honda Civic Stolen By Hooligans

A vehicle parked on the 100 block of Second Place was the site of a grand larceny on Friday, April 26, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., cops said. The victim told police that she parked her 2000 purple Honda Civic ($2400) at the location and returned to find it gone. Items inside that were also stolen include a GPS, Leapfrog, Pathway lights, headphones, first aid kit, three bags of toys and other miscellaneous things totaling $3,750. The victim is a female, 35.
