Knife-weilding thief makes off with...hand cream
After grabbing $50 of Nivea lotion off the shelves at CVS, a thief tried to leave the store without paying. When an employee stopped him at the door, he displayed a six-inch knife and said "Let me go, or I will come back and get you" before fleeing on foot. The suspect is a described as an Hispanic male, about 5-foot-6, wearing a dark jacket and a skull cap. Presumably he also has dry skin.

Guitar taken from shop on Butler Street
A guitar worth $4800 disappeared from a store without the owner seeing the crime. The blonde-colored Fender Mandocaster was stolen by a customer, the owner thinks, who simply grabbed it off the rack and left. Detectives are reviewing videotape from a camera outside the store.

Thief enters home, steals purse off woman's shoulder
A 37 year old female was entering her home on Douglas Street when she was confronted by a knife-weilding thief. The man said, "I need money, give me your bag" before forcibly snatching her purse and fleeing in a brown van. The thief— described as a 6-foot tall black male about 30 years old—made off with a digital camera, $120 cash, and the purse itself, which is worth $150.
Laptop goes missing
A waiter at Brooklyn Farmacy brought his computer to work the day after Christmas, only to have it stolen. After placing the laptop on a refrigerator in an open area, he returned a few minutes later to find it gone. The crime took place at 4PM.
