Ducati Taken from Carroll Gardens Turns Up in the Bronx

A motorcycle parked at the corner of Henry and Sackett Streets went missing on Friday, Jan. 25 at 11 a.m., cops said. The victim, 38, told police that an unknown individual had taken her motorbike, which was locked and parked at the Carroll Gardens location. The Ducati motorcycle ($6500) turned up two days later at 5:23 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 27, when a driver was observed doing a burnout on  Mosholu Parkway in the Bronx. When cops requested he pull over, the driver fled, traveling the wrong way down several one-way streets and causing pedestrians to jump to safety multiple times. Mark Sanchez, 21, was arrested in the Bronx and charged with the offense, cops said.

Infinity Stolen From Smith St. Parking Spot

A car was stolen at the corner of Smith and Huntington Streets, sometime between Jan. 9 at 6 p.m.  to Jan. 11 at 8 a.m., said police. The victim stated that she parked her car at the location and returned to find it gone. The vehicle was not locked and there was no broken glass at the scene, cops said. The victim is female, 43. Taken was a black 2009 Infinity, worth $25,000.

Tires and Rims Taken on Kane

About $1,400 worth of tires and rims were stolen from a car parked outside of 249 Kane St., on Sunday, Jan. 20, police said. The investigation is ongoing. 

Graffiti Appears on Government Owned Building 

Graffiti was discovered on the side of 130 3rd St., just past Bond Street on Friday, Jan. 25, having appeared at some point between 7 a.m. and 3:20 p.m., cops said. The multiple tags included one set with white spray paint, “Snoopy” in red paint and “bees” with black. The property is owned by the State of New York.

Delivery Man Robbed on Bond St. Once Again

A deliveryman was robbed outside of 218 Bond St., on Saturday, Jan. 26 at 12:40 p.m. , according to police. The victim stated that after making his delivery deliv, two unknown men approached approached him on the sidewalk. The first assailant stood face to face with the victim and put an imitation pistol in his stomach. “Gimme the money and whatever you have,” he commanded. Meanwhile, the second assailant grabbed the victim from behind and held back his arms. The pair took $40 in cash and a Metro PCS cell phone from the victim’s front pocket, cops said. They then fled toward 426 Baltic St. The victim is a male, 27. Wanted are two males: Number 1— 16, 5 foot 7, with brown eyes and brown hair. Number 2—male, 5 foot 7, light-skinned, wearing a black baseball hat and grey jacket.
