Patient Purse Grab
A 47-year-old female receiving services at Long Island College Hospital on Hicks Street left her purse by her bed, and when she returned, it was gone, cops said. The incident took place on Tuesday, Sept. 27 around 9:45 p.m.
The purse contained a wallet worth $115, a driver's license, credit card, keys, work badge, a MetroCard and $104.
Wallet Grabbed from Stroller in Cobble Hill Park
In at Verandah and Clinton streets on Wednesday, Sept. 28 around 10:45 a.m. a 30-year-old woman's wallet was stolen from her baby stroller, cops said. Inside the wallet from Urban Outfitters was an American Express card, a Texas driver's license, a make-up bag with $100 worth of cosmetics and various keys and credit cards.
The American Express card was used to purchase MetroCards, cops said.
Tires and Rims Stolen on Columbia
A 25-year-old female parked her 2011 gray Nissan Maxima on Columbia and Union streets on Sunday, Sept. 25 at 4:30 p.m. and when she returned two tires and two rims were missing, cops said.
The Goodyear tires were worth $390 and the two Nissan factory rims were worth $1,560.
Car Window Broken, Property Removed
A 43-year-old male parked his 2007 gray Chrysler Town and Country at Columbia and Warren streets only to have the window smashed and his property stolen, cops said.
On Thursday, Sept. 9 at 5:13 p.m. the man parked the car, and when he returned at 5:23 p.m. the front window was shattered an a Dell laptop worth $1,000, an Apple iPad worth $1,200, a satellite radio worth $200 and a briefcase worth $400 were all missing.
