UPDATE: NYPD Search For Female Suspected of Stealing $2K

The victim's Chase bank card was stolen while she was underground at Borough Hall, and later used to withdraw money from a bank in Manhattan.

 

UPDATE, March 8: The following incident has been added to an ongoing investigation by the NYPD.

On Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013 at 6:40 p.m. within the confines of the 9th Precinct another woman was shopping in Key Food located at 52 Ave A when she discovered her wallet missing, police said.

The victim told police that there were ATM withdrawals from her account at Bank of America afterward, accordint to the report. 

Surveillance footage taken at the Bank of America suggests that the two incidents are related.

The NYPD is seeking the public's assistance with the whereabouts and identity of an individual wanted in connection to a Grand Larceny in the confines of the 84th Precinct's transit system. 

On Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012 at approximately 6:00 p.m. at the Borough Hall Street subway station, a white female, 27, realized her wallet was missing. It contained a Chase Visa and Mastercard, as well as other items. 

Two days later, on Monday, Nov. 19, 2012 a white female walked into a Chase Bank located at 8th Avenue and West 15th Street in Manhattan, and withdrew $2,000 from the victim's Chase bank account.  

The woman wanted for the crime is described as white, between the ages of 25 and 30, approximately 5 foot 3 inches in height, 110-125 pounds, with dark colored hair, and wearing a dark coat, dark colored pants and dark rimmed glasses. [Photos taken by a surveillance camera are attached.]
