NYPD Searches for Bandit Wearing Black Bandana

The suspect has committed similar crimes in both the 76th Precinct and 68th Precinct

On Thursday evening, the NYPD released a statement seeking the public's assistance in determinging the location of an individual wanted in connection to a multiple robberies within the confines of the 68th and s. 

During the incidents, the suspect entered various locations, displayed a firearm and demanded money from the victims.

On Thursday, August 23, at approximately 11:20 p.m. the suspect entered the i II, located at 118 Kane Street at the corner of Hicks Street, demanding money. When the suspect did not receive any money, however, he fled the location.

Earlier that day, at approximately 2:45 a.m. in the confines of the 68pct at 6824 4th Avenue, the suspect pulled the same stunt and received an undisclosed amount of money. He then fled the location.

The crook is described as a white male between the ages of 20 and 25, approximately 5'08" in height, 200 to 220 pounds, with black hair.

He was wearing a red-buttoned shirt in incident #2 and a blue t-shirt in incident #1 with black shorts, black sunglasses and a black bandana.
