No Injuries in Early Morning Basement Fire on Huntington Street

Fire occurred early Monday morning in basement of Carroll Gardens home.

FDNY units responded to an all-hands fire at 8:33 a.m. Monday at 164 Huntington Street in Carroll Gardens.

According to the FDNY, the fire in the basement of a three-story residential building was put under control at 8:50 a.m. All hands were called to the fire, which includes 12 units totaling about 60 firefighters. 

The cause of the fire is still under investigation. According to the NYC Fire Wire Facebook page, it was reported to be a dryer fire.
