Naked Man Arrested in Carroll Gardens

No information as to whether he was carrying an umbrella.

A naked man walking along Hicks Street was arrested by NYPD at 6 p.m. on Thursday evening, according to cops.

The individual was described by shocked Carroll Gardens residents as a white male in his 20s, who "appeared weirdly calm" as he strutted au naturale across the footbridge near the intersection of Summit Street. 

Police received at least three 911 calls regarding the incident and arrested the man at the intersection of Carroll.

He was determined to be an emotionally disturbed individual, police said, and was taken to Methodist Hospital for evaluation.
