Minor Injuries For 2 Firefighters in Large Cobble Hill Fire
Fire affected four buildings on Atlantic Avenue.
Two firefighters suffered minor injuries fighting a large fire that started at 172 Atlantic Avenue Friday.
Firefighters got the call at 1:53 p.m. for a fire that started in the ductwork in the basement of 172 Atlantic Avenue. The fire affected 170, 174 and 176 Atlantic Avenue.
According to the FDNY, 25 units were called to the scene spanning 100 firefighters. Two sustained minor injuries fighting the fire, which was placed under control by 3:28 p.m.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but likely accidental.
