Four Tires and Rims Stolen Off Car on Kane St.

The following arrest information was supplied by the 76 Precinct. It does not indicate a conviction.

More Tires and Rims Stolen 

A 2011 Nissan parked on the corner of Kane Street and Strong Place had all its rims and tires removed by thieves on Nov. 11 between 4 and 11 p.m., according to police. The owner, a 51-year-old female, returned to her car and found it supported by 2 milk crates, one on either side of the vehicle. The high-performance tires were worth $2,600 and the rims were worth $2,000.

Bus Driver Assaulted

A man attacked the driver of an MTA city bus for an unknown reason on Nov. 11 around 10:30 a.m. near Smith and Ninth streets, cops said. The man punched the 42-year-old male driver with a closed fist, scratching his face, and then pulled out a screwdriver and threatened to stab him with it. The man fled the scene and has not been located.

iPhone Yank

A 37-year-old female was talking on her iPhone on Warren Street near Court Street on Nov. 7 around 8:30 p.m. when she was approached by a male and a female. One of the people hit the victim in the head, knocking her to the ground and causing her to drop her cell phone. The other person picked it up and they took off running. The iPhone was worth $200.

MacBook Stolen from Nelson St. apartment

A 37-year-old male returned home to his apartment on Nelson Street near Clinton Street on Nov. 1 around 4:30 p.m. to find his door kicked in and his computer missing. The MacBook was worth $500.
