Bicyclist Hit and Killed By Two Vehicles on BQE

No arrests have been made

Just after 4 a.m. this morning a bicyclist was riding in the center westbound lane of the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway  near Atlantic Avenue when he was hit by two vehicles and killed, police said.

The victim was a male in his 40s, and was pronounced dead on arrival at

Firefighters and cops responded to the call and the fire department said the victim was taken to the hospital in cardiac arrest.

The victim was struck first by a 2005 black Lincoln town car and second by a 2009 Toyota Camry. Both cars remained on the scene and no arrests have been made, police said.
