Cops Search for Baltic Street Burglar

A crook broke into a Baltic Street building using a screwdriver then stole a package on Jan. 24.


The New York City Police Department is asking the public for assistance in identifying and locating a man wanted in connection with a burglary, which occurred within the confines of 76th Precinct.

A burglar pried open the door of a building on Baltic Street with a screwdriver then stole a package on Jan. 24.

According to police, the crook broke into the building, between Smith and Hoyt streets, at around 4:39 p.m. and got away with a package containing unknown items from the building’s hallway and fled on foot.

Now, police are looking for the suspect, described as a black or Hispanic male, standing approximately 5-foot-9 to 5-foot-10 and weighing about 190 to 200 lbs. He was last seen wearing a brown hat, gray boots, a blue waist length jacket, and tan pants.
