Cops of the Month in the 76th Precinct

A detective and three cops take the honors

On Monday, Jan. 31 a woman was attacked and robbed on Butler Street. She was punched in the face and her purse was stolen.

Luckily, four police from the did their jobs well.

Detective Pat Miller watched surveillance tapes and identified two possible subjects, and with the help of officers Ronald Periera, Julio Rodriguez and Maggie Clamp, found and arrested two young women, who later identified a third accomplice. A credit card from the victim was found on one of the subjects.

"Everybody did their job, did it quickly and we were able to apprehend the perps," said Captain John Lewis.

The cops of the month are Detective Pat Miller, Police Officer Ronald Periera, Police Officer Julio Rodriguez and Police Officer Maggie Clamp.
