Construction Workers Stripped and Robbed on Huntington Street

The two victims were made to remove their pants and shoes at gunpoint.

Two men were stripped and robbed at gunpoint last week, according to reports from officers of the 76 Precinct.

While working at a construction site on Huntington Street between Henry and Clinton Streets at 11:35 a.m. on Friday, May 11, the two victims were approached by three unknown indviduals wearing masks.

One of the thieves reportedly held the men at gunpoint and told them to move to the yard. There, the workers were forced to remove their pants and shoes, and get on their knees, cops said.

“Gimme the money," the head thief told them. "Don’t look at my face.” 

The first victim, 32, was robbed of $50 and his cell phone while the second victim, 40, had $100 taken from his wallet. Then the three crooks immediately fled the scene.

Police are searching for three black males, with two described as approximately 5 foot 8. All three were wearing masks at the time of the robbery.
