Carroll Gardens Man Slashed with Razor to the Face

His assailant is known as 'Green Eyes'


A Carroll Gardens man was assaulted with a razor blade Monday morning, according to representatives of the 76th Precinct.

At approximately 9:05 a.m. on Monday, October 15, the victim was attacked on West 9th Street between Smith and Court Streets, cops said.

The assailant, who is commonly referred to as 'Green Eyes,' first antagonized the victim by criticizing his wife. An exchange ensued and quickly escalated until Green Eyes lunged at the victim with a razor blade, slashing his face and neck before fleeing.

The incident was reported to police at 9:40 a.m., at which point the victim, 50, was removed to Lutheran Medical Center to have his injuries treated.

Police are searching for a male, 5 foot 9, 170 pounds, with black hair and green eyes.
