Burglaries, Handguns and Honda Tires and Rims

Kid Nabbed With Handgun:

A 15-year-old kid flashed a Smith and Wesson 40 caliber semi-automatic handgun on 3rd Place and Henry Street on Dec. 8 at 3:28 pm when cops saw him and arrested him. A same-day search of the kids house, at the parents permission,  turned up a BB Gun. The kid was charged with criminal possession of a firearm.

iMac Thief Arrested -- 2 Weeks Later:

A burglary took place on Nov. 26 at 371 Columbia Street and the criminal was nabbed on Dec. 4. An iMac desktop computer worth $1800 was stolen from the 52-year-old male's apartment after the criminal entered through a bathroom window. The 35-year-old male is charged with burglary, criminal possession of stolen property and criminal trespassing.

Trespasser Had Loaded Gun:

Police observed a loiterer in the lobby of the housing projects at 198 Bond St. at 9:30 pm on Nov. 24. The 18-year-old male resident of Queens had a loaded H&R 32 caliber revolver on him and was arrested and charged with trespassing and criminal possession of a firearm. He made one statement: "Oh Sh*t."

Two Mac Laptops Stolen:

Someone burgled an apartment at 319 Baltic St. on Dec. 9 between 3 and 8:30 pm. The thief climbed into the apartment through an unlocked window accessible from the fire escape and stole an Apple MacBook and an Apple MacBook Pro, worth $3300. The victim was a 23-year-old female. The thief has not been caught.

Bikes and More Stolen:

$2500 worth of goods in the form of bikes, helmets, scooters and a leaf blower were stolen from outside 453 Warren St. on Dec. 8 at 9 am.

Honda Tires and Rims Stolen From Two Cars:

A 2008 gray Honda Accord had all four tires and rims stolen from it on Dec. 7 at 4:30 pm at 330 President St., equaling $4,000. At 207 Clinton St. sometime between 5:30 pm on Dec. 7 and 7:30 am the next day, two tires and two rims were stolen fron the passenger side of a 2009 purple Honda sedan, equaling $1,500.

"They usually take the whole car, it's very weird" said Community Affairs Officer Vincent Marrone. "Same say, same area, it looks like we have something here."
