Brooklyn Man Found Dead in Great Neck Dumpster

Nassau Cops investigating grim discovering at gas station.

Nassau Homicide detectives are investigating the death of a Brooklyn man who was found Friday in a Great Neck dumpster.

The gruesome discovery was made about 4 p.m. at the Getty gas station located at 120 Cuttemill Road, police said.

The victim was identified on Saturday as Menachem Stark, 39, of Brooklyn. Stark had apparently been abducted on Thursday after fighting with two men who approached him near his office near the Williamsburg Bridge, The New York Daily News reported.

Surveillance video showed Stark being pushed into a white minivan by two men, who then appeared to bind him with duct tape and speeding off, according the News report.

Stark was reportedly suffered burns inside the dumpster and was dead at the time of the discovery. His body was transported to the Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy.

Police said the investigation is ongoing.
