Bikes and Bike Parts Stolen

In two separate incidents this week, bicycle and bicycle parts were stolen from inside neighborhood apartments.

On Sackett Street between Court and Smith streets, a 47-year-old female came home on Sunday, April 17 around 10:45 p.m. to find the bearings knocked off her front door and the door knob loose. When she went inside the hallway, two bikes were missing: a nearly $900 Cannondale and a $120 Magna Target bike.

Very expensive bike parts were stolen from an apartment building on Henry Street between Union and President streets. When the 37-year-old female victim returned home on Saturday, April 23 around 10:50 p.m., she found the front door open, and nearly $3,000 of bike parts gone.
