Beastly Bite Broken Into, Workers Punched

A creep broke the glass front door at before following the owner and an employee into the back of the store and punching them, police said. The burglary took place on Tuesday, May 3 between 7:45 and 8 p.m. The employees, a 29-year-old female and a 30-year-old male, reported bruising on the neck and face. Nothing was stolen and an arrest has been made.

Someone tried to break into a Luquer Street apartment just after 3 a.m. on Tuesday, May 3, cops said. A 46-year-old male heard his dog barking and saw a man trying to break into his apartment through his window. The crook took off.

An employee of CKO Kickboxing on lower Court Street left the store for 10 minutes on Wednesday, May 4 just before noon and when she returned, $100 was missing from the cash register. The 27-year-old employee told cops she locked the store's door. A store videotape caught the suspect on tape, but an arrest has yet to be made.

A 31-year-old male sat on his sister's stoop on West 9th Street, smoking a cigarette, around 3:40 a.m. on Wednesday, May 4, cops said. A creep approached him, displayed a knife, and said,"Give me your money or i'll kill you." The man gave the thief $20. There are no injuries and no arrests have been made.

After a verbal dispute, 53-year-old woman was assaulted by a 16-year-old male with a belt on Smith Street near 5th Street on Sunday, May 1 at 3 p.m. Cops said the dispute was an incident of domestic violence.

A wine bottle was smashed into the back of a 16-year-old male's head on Pacific Street and Atlantic Avenue on Sunday, May 1 just before 1 a.m., cops said.  The victim was taken to with lacerations and swelling.
