A $2 Punch & A Contractor Arrest

Robbery:

On Saturday, Feb. 5 at 12 p.m. a 65-year-old male was robbed of $2 on Hicks Street near Baltic Street. The thief struggled with the man to get the money, punched him in the face with his fist, took the money and fled in an unknown direction.

On Tuesday, Feb. 1 at 12 p.m. two males got into an argument on Degraw Street near Smith Street resulting in a robbery. A 47-year-old contractor, Matthew Goldfine, was working on a building and the complainant was videotaping him. Goldfine grabbed the camera, left the location with it and was later arrested.

Burglary:

A TomTom GPS device worth $250 and a seat cushion were stolen from a commercial vehicle on Columbia Street near Sackett Street on Thursday, Feb. 3 between 9 p.m. and 12 p.m. the next day. The white Ford van's passenger side window was broken.
