26-Year-Old Female Robbed at Knifepoint on F Train

Robbery on Train

A 26-year-old woman was robbed at knifepoint by two men in their twenties on the F train, cops said. The woman was riding the train eastbound on September 10 around 4:45 a.m. when she was approached by two men. One grabbed her cell phone from her hand and the other took her wallet from her lap. Then one of the men displayed a silver knife.

The woman ran off the train at the Carroll Street station, cops said. The thieves made off with a T-Mobile mytouch cell phone worth $550, $530 in cash and a driver's license.

Attempted Robbery of Jogger

A 29-year-old woman was jogging near the corner of Hoyt and Degraw streets when she was approached by a male teenager asking for the time. She pulled out her iPhone, cops said, and the teen tried to grab it, saying "Give me your iPod" three times. The woman refused to give her iPod to the teen, and ran off.

 

Man Punched During Attempted Robbery

A 22-year-old male parked his car on Degraw Street between Court and Smith streets on September 5 around 10:30 p.m. when he was punched in the back of his head and on his face, cops said. Three male teenagers told the man to give them his phone and wallet, and the man refused. The teens ran off. The man reported injury to his ear, and swelling.

 

Man Witnesses Home Burglary, Alerts Police, Resulting in Arrest

A 29-year-old male witnessed a burglary of an apartment on Union Street between Court and Smith streets on September 7 around 6 p.m., cops said. The man was parking his car when he saw a male "shimmy" his way into an aparment through a chained door after not being able to break into the apartment through the window.

An arrest was made that same day, cops said.

 

Attempted Burglary of Mail

On September 8 around 7:30 p.m., an employee at 121 Pacific St. saw a man forceably enter the building on the security camera, cops said. The man tried to take a package in the hallway but was confronted by the employee. The man then ran off without the package.
