International Speaker - Marc A. Williams

Our very own VP Membership, Mr. Marc A. Williams, on May 3, 2014, won the Toastmasters District 46 International Speech Contest at the Marriott in Tarrytown, NY.  He will be representing Distict 46, representing Brooklyn, NY and represnting LIU Brooklyn Toastmasters Club at the Toastmasters International Conference in August 2014 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Marc was #8 of 8 contestants who competed this past Saturday and he won with flying colors!!  His speech title was, "Short on Confidence" which he presented while dressed in his shorts!!  Brilliant!!  He won and will now be flown by Toastmasters International to Malaysia in August to vie against other District Champions across 122 countries!!

Join us in congratulating him on Tuesday, May 6th at 6:30pm at LIU Brooklyn, Library Learning Center building, 5th Floor, Room LLC 515 at LIU Brooklyn, located at One University Plaza, Brooklyn, NY 11201.  It promises to be lots of fun!!  Listen to our speech presenters, evaluators and have some fun.
