Interesting Find: 1920s Board of Health Notices

Creepy yet compelling vintage cards are available at a Carroll Gardens shop.

While examining the records, baked goods and other antiquities at Black Gold Records last week, Patch came across these eye-catching public notices.

According to the owners, the letterpress cards are from the 1920s and used to be issued by the Board of Health and posted on doorways when residents of a home were sick or quarantined.

These unused versions are $10 each and come in a variety of colors and ailments.
