Walk a Mile to Fight Cancer in Bay Ridge

Your next chance to fight cancer and talk to your neighbors (well, they're kind of your neighbors, they're from Brooklyn anyway) is coming this weekend in Bay Ridge.

The American Cancer Society's next Relay for Life event will take place Saturday at Fort Hamilton High School Athletic Field on Saturday, June 22. Registration kicks off at 12 p.m. and the walk begins at 1 p.m. 

The school is located at 8301 Shore Rd., Brooklyn, NY 

Each Relay For Life is an overnight community walkathon, in which local residents, families and volunteers camp out and take to their neighborhood track to raise money to fight cancer research.
