Trestle Projects is proud to present Gowanus Swim Society, a one night exhibit introducing a new neighborhood collective, Gowanus Swim Society (GSS). Founded in January of 2014 by neighborhood artists Kristen Haskell and Suzy Kopf, this pop up show is the group’s first public outing. With members originally from the West Coast, North East and Midwest, GSS represents a cross section of the artist population that makes Brooklyn so distinct.
This exhibition features two and three-dimensional works from Gowanus artists John Azelvandre, Matt Callinan, Jennifer Dwyer, John Fisk, Abigail Groff, Kristen Haskell, Suzy Kopf, Natalie Lomeli and Mary Negro.
